JPMorgan adds executive director to private banking team

J.P. Morgan Private Bank has hired Société Générale's Renaud Billard as an executive director and private banker in its UK high net worth team.

Billard was the head of the French desk at Société Générale Private Banking Hambros in London, and before that worked in its private banking arm in Paris for five years.

In his new role, Billard will be advising and developing relationships with high net worth clients in the UK, focussing on the French community. Based in London, he will report to Andrew Brock, head of the high net worth international & trust team.

'Renaud’s appointment confirms the Private Bank’s commitment to our high net worth business in the UK,' Brock said. 'His extensive market knowledge and breadth of experience make him a valuable addition to our team.'

J.P. Morgan Private Bank has client assets of $977 billion (£581.4 billion ) across investing, tax and estate planning, family office management, philanthropy, credit, and special advisory services.
