Julius Baer has appointed two new members to its branch management board in Guernsey.
Both Jean-Luc Le Tocq and Craig Allen joined the company in early 2016 from rival Credit Suisse and have been appointed following a period of expansion for the local private banking team.
Allen, who has 20 years’ industry experience, will oversee the investment management business locally. He had previously been head of portfolio management for Credit Suisse.
Le Tocq has 28 years' industry experience as a chartered wealth manager, 13 years of which he spent in the Channel Islands.
He will be tasked with leading a team of relationship managers working with locally-based clients, Channel Islands-based structures and UK resident, non-domiciled individuals.
Stephen Burt, branch manager at Julius Baer’s Guernsey office, said: 'The addition of Jean-Luc and Craig to our experienced branch management board will ensure that our strong position in servicing clients in the island and internationally is further supported.’
Julius Baer is currently involved in a concerted wealth push across the UK, for which it has hired a number of Barclays alumni.
