London & Capital director to lead new family office

London & Capital director to lead new family office

London & Capital executive director Mark Estcourt has joined recently launched Cavendish Family Office.

Estcourt will become the chief executive officer of the Mayfair-based multifamily office, which opened its doors in November. The firm specifically services international clients and politically exposed persons, particularly those from high-risk jurisdictions such as the Middle East, North Africa and the Far East.

Estcourt had been at London & Capital since 2012 as head of its immigration investment and wealth planning division.

Cavendish offers advisory services in tax structuring, accounting, investment management, real estate, commodities and legal advice in addition to alternative assets, such as works of art and classic cars.

‘Mark brings in his network, which is vast, and his experience. Clients come to us with all kinds of problems from the mundane to the quite exotic, and Mark is able to reach into that black book,’ said Cavendish founder Qunmber Ehsan.

Prior to London & Capital, Estcourt worked at London-based IFA Cavendish Young which was acquired by Merchant Securities in 2009, and resulted in the name change.

The immigration investment and wealth planning division at London & Capital was established when he joined in order to service overseas clients who were looking to invest in the UK.
