Lyxor slashes fees on European ETFs by more than 50%

Lyxor has the cut the fees on three of its Euro Stoxx exchange-traded funds (ETF) by over 50%.

The total expense ratio (TER) on the funds was dropped from 0.15% to 0.07%.

The fund affected by the most recent cuts are:

  • Lyxor Euro Stoxx 50
  • Lyxor Euro Stoxx 300
  • Lyxor Stoxx Europe 600

Lyxor head of ETF strategy Adam Laird said: ‘This latest fee cut has been in Europe as we know that’s a market of interest to many investors at the moment.’

‘In May more than €3.4 billion (£3 billion) flowed to European equity ETFs – the highest since December 2015. Lyxor has over 60 options for investing in European equity – covering broad markets, single countries and sectors. With this move makes us one of the lowest cost options for broad market exposure.’

This is the latest in a string of price cuts by the firm—the last of which was last week when the firm cut fees on its ten-strong world sector suite.
