M&G recruits equities manager from Danske

M&G recruits equities manager from Danske

M&G Investments has hired John William Olsen from Danske Capital for its equities team.

At Danske, Olsen managed the firm’s Global Stockpicking, Global Select and European Select equity funds.

According to Citywire data, Olsen has returned 25.9% over the past three years, compared with a peer-group average of 20.6% for the period.

Following the confirmation that Graham French would be departing M&G, the group has been active in bringing in new managers. As well as Olsen, resources specialist Jamie Horvat has joined M&G from Canada's Sprott Asset Management.
