Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Wealth Manager

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Wealth Manager

We wish all our readers a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2015.

2014 certainly was an interesting year, with a legal spat between Brewin Dolphin and Charles Stanley and Coutts launching a suitability review dating back to 1957 among the highlights.

There was also plenty of M&A activity as regulatory pressures took hold, while there were a number of high profile changes on wealth and fund desks across the industry.

We will keep our eyes open for any shenanigans during the rest of the year, and will be back at our desks on 5 January to tackle what we fully expect to be another eventful year.

Until then, make sure you get the most out of those festive jumpers while you can...
