 What is your typical client demographic?

As Aspinalls provides a comprehensive suite of specialist wealth management and investment services, our client base is a reflection of this. Our clients include professionals, charities, families and individuals – all with unique requirements. A point of pride is the many multi-generational family relationships we manage, which we consider testament to the quality of our offering.

What differentiates your location?

It goes without saying that London provides wealth managers with arguably unparalleled access to some of the most talented individuals and firms in the industry globally. Our offices are located in the West End, which can provide a heightened appeal to clients vis-à-vis our peers in parts of London with a more institutional ambience, such as the City or Canary Wharf.

What challenges are facing your staff?

Standard London challenges are very much applicable to us. Length and discomfort of respective commutes being an oft-quoted one in the office.  Not to mention dealing with the smugness of cyclist colleagues during tube strikes!

What’s the best thing about living in your area?

I live in Southwest London, which is a fantastic area and provides a good deal of relative tranquillity and green space when compared to the hustle and bustle of more central areas.  Being a competitive rower, it also allows me to live in a location which is roughly equidistant between work and my club along the Thames near Richmond. A key positive factor when it comes to living in London is the city’s diversity in terms of living, working and recreational activities. 

What is a typical regional saying? 
‘I’ll have a small cappuccino please.’ ‘Certainly, that will be £9.50.’

What is your office motto?

Clarity, stewardship, peace of mind.


We place a great deal more belief in strategic as opposed to tactical investment decisions and therefore remain optimistic about markets over the longer term.
