Q&A with Keith Edwards, chief executive, Casterbridge Wealth, Salisbury:
What is your typical client demographic?
Introduced by a financial adviser; private clients, approaching or recently retired early, looking to live off their savings.
What differentiates your location?
Salisbury is the gateway to South West and attracts the ‘down sizers’ and the retiring to the country clients – whilst still being an hour and a half from Waterloo. We have a strong and professional advising community with which to work.
What challenges are facing your area?
We have a growing population and property development that goes with that, putting some pressure on our infrastructure – ‘Smallsbury’s’ days are numbered.
What’s the best thing about living in your area?
The quality of life in Salisbury and the surrounding villages is second to none. The rolling hills of the Blackmore Vale south west of our city is some of the most beautiful countryside.
What’s a typical regional saying?
‘That’s Smallsbury for you’
What is your office motto?
What more do you need than consistency, communication, commitment and... sparkling wine on a Friday... if it’s good enough for Churchill.
