Rathbones hires Euroclear man for new head of strategy role

Rathbones hires Euroclear man for new head of strategy role

Rathbones has appointed Mike Bolsover OBE to the newly created position of head of strategy and organisation development.

Bolsover joins Rathbones from Euroclear, the post-trade settlement organisation, where he was director, strategy and corporate planning. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Gerrard Group and HSBC, and has over 30 years’ experience in financial services to his name. Historically, he has had a particular emphasis on strategy and organisation development roles.

Commenting on the hire, Rathbones' CEO Philip Howell said:

'Given the growth momentum that Rathbones continues to demonstrate, we have been looking to reinforce the senior management team.

'In Mike, we are very fortunate to have attracted someone combining a deep understanding of our industry with a vast amount of experience in strategy and organisation development. We look forward to welcoming him to our team.'

Bolsover will report directly into Philip Howell and likely play a key role in integrating the acquisitions of Jupiter's private client division and Tilney's London team.
