Rothschild hires JP Morgan research boss as investment head

Rothschild Wealth Management has hired Robert Blaxland for the newly created role of head of investments.

Blaxland was previously managing director and head of European research at JP Morgan following previous stints at Rubicon, Polar Capital and Morgan Stanley.

He will report into Mark Kary, head of Rothschild’s UK wealth management business.

Kary said: ‘As Rothschild’s wealth management business continues to grow, we are continuing to invest to deepen and strengthen our investment proposition.

‘The breadth and depth of Robert’s market knowledge and understanding, his impressive network and years of experience working in investment research and communications will further enhance and add value to what we offer to clients.’
