Rothschild launches UK funds business

Edmond de Rothschild has launched a UK fund management business, according to the Financial Times.

To facilitate this the firm has brought its existing asset management activities under one roof in London.

The Franco-Swiss group’s chief executive Laurent Tignard told the paper the new business will focus on developing an institutional client base.

The company also plans to launches an infrastructure debt fund in the first quarter.
