Rowan Dartington creates new business relationship director role

Rowan Dartington has appointed Andrew Snowball as business relationship director.

In the newly-created role, Snowball (pictured) will be responsible for driving the firm's adviser growth strategy and overseeing the development of relationships with new and existing clients.

He will be based in Scotland.

He joins from Lighthouse Group, where he was a group development director (networks). Previously, Snowball held senior positions with networks Sumus and Financial Services Advice and Support.

Trevor Cheal, managing director of investment services at Rowan Dartington, said in a statement: 'Andrew [Snowball]’s wealth of experience in the financial services sector make him a great addition for Rowan Dartington.

'We’re really looking forward to working with Andrew and seeing our client relationships go from strength to strength.'

In December, Rowan Dartington revealed it was aiming to double the number of investment managers it employs to 12.

Speaking after Wealth Manager last month revealed that company co-founders Andrew Morris and Mark Sevier had left to join Bristol rival RC Brown, taking a number of employees with them, chief executive Graham Coxell said the departures would not have a significant impact on the firm’s growth strategy.
