Rowan Dartington is to open a regional hub in Taunton to house a 20-strong team.
Based in Blackbrook Business Park, the site for the new branch is currently under development.
The office will bring together staff from Rowan Dartington’s Weston-super-Mare, Exeter and current Taunton offices. These small hubs will close once the regional centre opens.
There are also plans to continue to grow the headcount as the company said it is always looking to attract more talent to the business.
Once the centre is opened, Rowan Dartington will have a total of 14 regional offices. The hub is expected to give the business greater visibility and ‘allow for further anticipated growth’.
Graham Coxell (pictured), executive chairman of Rowan Dartington, said: ‘Everyone is thrilled about the move. We have always viewed Taunton as a prospective regional hub for us and our strength in the area further heightened the rationale for us opening a new centre there, particularly as we continue to extend our footprint.
‘Our business has grown rapidly over the last five years and we have ambitious plans for the future. It goes without saying that includes attracting more talent to our business, built upon sound values of pride and care.’
Rowan Dartington has over 229 employees based across England and Scotland and looks after over £2.1 billion in assets under management. This is an increase of 34% year-on-year, and according to the annual results of Rowan Dartington parent St James’s Place, future growth is expected to continue at a similar rate.
SJP highlighted that it is committed to investing in building Rowan Dartington’s infrastructure as it continues to grow, and expects 2018 costs to be £6 to £7 million higher.
