Ruffer founder steps down from WMA board

Ruffer co-founder Jane Tufnell (pictured) has stepped down from the board of the Wealth Management Association's (WMA).

Tufnell had served a one-year term on the WMA board. The move follows the news of Tufnell's retirement from Ruffer.(pictured), the business she founded in 1994 alongside Jonathan Ruffer and Earl Ferrers. She stepped down from Ruffer’s management board and left the firm at the end of June.

Tufnell had played a pivotal role in the evolution of Ruffer, which now employs 198 people and has offices in London, Edinburgh and Hong Kong. She also formerly ran the NatWest pension fund's UK smaller companies exposure .
