Sarasin has hired SG Hambros' Alistair Campbell to replace fund of funds manager Oliver Tucker, who has left to study to become a Baptist Church minister.
Campbell is set to join Sarasin at the beginning of October from SG Hambros Private Banking, where he worked as a fund analyst.
He will work closely with fund of funds manager Lucy Walker and team assistant Jamie Fletcher. Sam Jeffries will continue to head Sarasin's third party funds team.
Tucker (pictured), who featured in Wealth Manager's Top 100 in Fund Selection last year, had formed part of Sarasin's fund research team for its private client division and formerly co-managed the Sarasin Global Diversified and Sarasin Global Equity fund of funds.
Jeffries and Walker will absorb Tucker's fund management responsibilities and continue as named managers on the funds.
After seven years at Sarasin on the fund research team, Tucker said: 'It has been a fabulous seven years. A the time I joined Sarasin, we had 110 people and now there are 250 people. I have been at Sarasin my whole investment life and grown up there. It feels very much like a family.'Sarasin added: 'Oliver has added significant value to the development of Sarasin & Partners’ third party fund selection process and they wish him continued success in his future career.'
