Seneca appoints finance and operations manager

Liverpool-based Seneca Investment Managers has appointed David Binnion to the newly created role of finance and operations manager.

The multi-asset value investment house said the position was created to support the growth of the firm. Binnion will also serve as a senior member of the operations, finance, and compliance team. He joins from Bibby Financial Services.

Binnion has over 15 years of experience in various financial, management and fund accounting roles in various sectors, including private equity, property and oil and gas. Prior to Bibby, he spent five years at Greenpark Capital before its takeover by the Stepstone Group.

David Thomas, chief executive, said: ‘David has a long and successful track record with exceptional experience across all financial and operational aspects of the investment business.

‘Seneca Investment Managers has made good progress in the past year and David’s appointment is another signal of intent in terms of Seneca’s drive for growth.’
