Seneca Investment Managers has appointed former Schroders head of IFA sales Steve Jackson as head of UK retail.
Jackson, who left Schroders at the end of last year, has been hired to strengthen the Liverpool-based firm's position in the IFA market.
He will work alongside LGBR Capital which has been retained by Seneca to distribute its funds.
Jackson's responsibilities at Schroders have since been split amongst the team.
Prior to working at Schroders for over eight years, Jackson held several roles at M&G including head of national accounts and business development director.
'We are pleased to have someone of Steve’s calibre on the team and his breadth and depth of intermediary expertise will be of huge benefit to Seneca Investment Managers as we focus on our growth in this key market,' said Seneca chief executive David Thomas.
