SLI national sales director Tony Harris joins Skandia

Skandia has appointed Tony Harris as head of specialist sales, covering pensions, protection, offshore, trusts and investment solutions.

He will lead with a proposition team of 12, working with financial advisers the various solutions and services available to them.

Harris previously worked as national sales director for Standard Life and investments director for Standard Life Investments. More recently worked as an independent business consultant helping firms with their strategic distribution.

He will start at Skandia, which is part of Old Mutual Wealth, on 25 June and report to Scott Goodsir, managing director of UK distribution.

'We believe that advisers should have access to a highly skilled team of proposition specialists, who can help them build suitable investment strategies based on customer needs. Tony has a wealth of experience in this industry and I look forward to working with him to strengthen our adviser facing support,' Goodsir said.
