SYZ Asset Management has rolled out a multi-asset mandate for UK investors.
Managed by lead portfolio manager Hartwig Kos (pictured) alongside assistant Maurice Harari, the Oyster Diversified GBP fund is a sterling version of the firm's Oyster Multi-Asset Diversified EUR which in the three years to January returned 30% against a peer average of 20%.
According to the launch is a recognition of growing demand for multi-asset strategies among UK investors.
Investors will not be subject to an annual management fee until 1 March 2019, when a 0.75% fee kicks in.
Katia Coudray, SYZ chief executive said: 'In today’s investment environment, launching new strategies is increasingly challenging the demand for long track records and sizeable assets before considering an investment.
'While such limitations can result in rationed fund selection for investors, a main consequence can be a shortage of new ideas from all but the largest investment managers, which limits investor choices.'
At the end of 2017, SYZ managed £1.27 billion in multi-asset strategies.
