Wealth management’s rising stars revealed
Wealth Manager has scoured the UK wealth management sector to identify those who are blazing a trail and making an impact on the businesses they work for. Judging by the quality of entrants this year, the industry’s commitment to developing new talent is stronger than ever.
The individuals selected have studied hard to pass their exams and have impressed their more seasoned peers. The final list is based on a combination of professional qualifications, ranging from the CFA to the CISI’s Masters, academic success, and most importantly, the scope of their responsibilities within their companies.
We have devised a proprietary scoring system, which ranked these responsibilities, awarding additional points to those who are involved in firm-level decision making processes, asset allocation committees, fund selection teams and other research functions.
We ranked the qualifications they have attained, with several wealth management companies helping us to assess their relevance to their day-to-day roles. We also rewarded their academic achievements.
To add a bit of colour, we also asked these rising stars to let us know about their extracurricular achievements. Many have revealed themselves to be just as driven outside of the workplace. This year’s Top 30 includes three qualified ski instructors, a pilot and a powerboat licence-holder.
Here we reveal this year’s Top 30 in alphabetical order.
