Turcan Connell investment manager Duncan Blyth departs

Duncan Blyth, investment director at Turcan Connell Asset Management (TCAM), has left the firm.

Blyth had joined Edinburgh-based TCAM as a senior investment manager in June 2006, after spending just over six years at Isis Asset Management, where he was an investment manager.

It is understood he is taking some time out of the industry, and the rest of the investment management team will absorb his responsibilities.

As TCAM passed £1 billion in assets in January, it increased its headcount by three, with the appointments of Edward Thomson in a quantitative research function, alongside Robin Kyle and Laura Knox, who both took investment manager posts.

In November 2013, executive director Bob Hair (pictured) also departed TCAM to join PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a director in its investment advisory division to build up family office services.
