Vestra bolsters US desk with Coutts hire

Vestra has bolsted its US business with the hire of Nick Blogg.

Blogg joins from Coutts, where he spent seven years and moved to its Americas desk in 2011 to provide investment advice to high net worth US Citizens living in the UK.

Before joining Coutts he worked for Deloitte providing fee-based financial planning and investment advice to high net worth private clients.

Vestra launched its US business in May 2013 under former Wealth Manager cover star Paul Nixon (pictured).

Commenting on the appointment of Blogg, the wealth firm said: 'Nick is well versed in international tax and portfolio planning and has considerable experience of advising UK resident/non-domiciled individuals, understanding the specific challenges involved in managing investments on behalf of US citizens, trusts and corporations.'
