WH Ireland announces further hires as Cazenove director joins board

WH Ireland announces further hires as Cazenove director joins board

Former vice-chair of Cazenove Capital Management Tim Steel has joined stockbroker WH Ireland as non-executive director.

‘I am delighted that Tim has agreed to join the Board of WH Ireland,’ said company chair Rupert Lowe.

‘Tim’s past experience at Cazenove and Co on both the corporate broking side of its business, and most latterly as vice-chairman of Cazenove Capital Management Ltd, its wealth management business, will be of immense value as we continue to grow and develop these two divisions of WH Ireland.’

Steel was also a director of Cazenove’s pensions trust and the Cazenove New Europe fund. At 8.52, shares in WH Ireland were 0.41% up at 120p.

The announcement came at the same time as an AGM statement from the company saying that the private client division has continued to make ‘significant progress’ beneath chief executive Richard Killingbeck (pictured).

‘We have recently appointed and continue to engage with additional individuals who might wish to join us in both London and our regional offices,’ added Lowe.
