Fidelity hires ex-JPM and Aberdeen bond chief

Fidelity Worldwide Investment recruited fixed income veteran Charles McKenzie from JP Morgan Asset Management.

McKenzie joins Fidelity as head of European fixed income portfolio management, with all fixed income portfolio managers based in Europe now reporting to him.

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has appointed James Dilworth as head of active management.

Dilworth (pictured) joins from Allianz Global Investors, where he was chief executive officer for Europe. Prior to this he had a spell as chief executive officer of Morgan Stanley Investment Managers EMEA.

S&W hires ex-JPM veteran for fixed income trust

Smith & Williamson Investment Management has taken on John Anderson (pictured) to manage its £27.8 million Fixed Interest Trust.

Anderson left JPMorgan in 2011 following a review of his Sterling Corporate Bond fund. Prior to that he had a role as head of credit at Gartmore and also spent nine years as head of fixed interest at Rensburg Sheppards.

Royal London Group hired former Swip UK equity manager Jon Bale. At the same time three managers - Simon Yarwood, Jamie Bebb and Elaine Fox - exited following the £219 million acquisition of the Co-operative Banking Group's fund management and life insurance businesses.

Norton originally joined the firm in 1981, having begun his career at Grieveson Grant and becoming a member of the London Stock Exchange in 1977.
