Odey recruits tech analyst from Goldman Sachs

Simon Schafer has left his role as a European technology analyst at Goldman Sachs to join Odey Asset Management.
The hire follows that of Didier Scemema, head of European technology research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, whom Odey recruited earlier this year.
This has returned a first-quartile 37.2% over the past three years, compared with an average of 29.4% from its peer group and 23.6% from the FTSE World Europe excluding UK index.
