Old Mutual Global Investors creates role for ex-Henderson IT boss

Simon Stratford has joined Old Mutual Global Investors in a newly created role as chief technology officer.

Stratford spent eight years as director of IT at Henderson Global Investors until 2006, when he became principal consultant at Investit.

At Old Mutual Stratford will report to chief operating officer Paul Nathan, and will be responsible for directing the group’s technology and data.

Nathan commented: ‘As we focus on building a solid foundation to support our future growth ambitions, as well as ensuring that we continue to provide a top quality client service, we believe that it is important that we ensure that we have the best technological and data solutions in place.’
