Overnight Markets: Most US stocks down on World Bank forecast

In Asia, shares gained on Thursday in morning trade as the yen’s drop boosted the outlook for Japanese exporters.

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index advanced 0.5% to 132 as of 10:34 a.m. Tokyo time.  The Nikkei 225 Stock Average added 0.7%. South Korea’s Kospi Index was gained 0.1%, while Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 Index climbed 0.7%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index rose 0.6% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.4%.
