Overnight Markets: S&P 500 snaps seven-day rally

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index fell 0.1% to 136 as of 10:42 a.m. in Tokyo. Japan’s Nikkei 225 slipped 0.1%, after gaining as much as 0.2% and falling as much as 0.5% earlier.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 Index fell 0.3%, while New Zealand NZX 50 Index dropped 0.7%. China’s Shanghai Composite Index and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index both dropped 0.2%. Taiwan’s Taiex Index rose 0.6%, while South Korea’s Kospi Index gained 0.1%. Singapore’s Straits Times Index lost 0.1%.
