Overnight Markets: US stocks erase gains to close flat

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index fell 0.2% to 135 as of 10:33 a.m. in Tokyo. Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average slipped 0.3%. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 Index fell 0.4%.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index declined 0.3% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.2%. South Korean markets are closed for a holiday.
