Overnight Markets: Wall Street gains as US economy expands

Campbell Soup Co (CPB.N) fell 3.1% after reporting revenue that missed expectations. Exxon Mobil Corp. lost 1.8% as oil futures fell from a two-year high.
In Asia, shares oscillated between gains and losses on Friday, with energy producers leading declines as the price of oil declined after the UK parliament voted against military strikes on Syria.
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index was little changed at 130 as of 11:50 a.m. in Tokyo. Japan’s Topix index dropped 0.8% after data showed consumer prices rose at the fastest pace since 2008. South Korea’s Kospi Index added 0.7%. New Zealand’s NZX 50 Index gained 0.2% and Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 Index advanced 0.5%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index lost 0.2% and China’s Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.2%. Taiwan’s Taiex Index increased 0.4%, while Singapore’s Straits Times Index dropped 0.1%.
