Psigma IM hires from Skandia and Punter Southall

Psigma Investment Management has made a double hire for its business development team.

Stewart Howard joins from Skandia where he was a business consultant, helping financial advisers develop their propositions in the run-up to the retail distribution review (RDR).

Meanwhile Chrissie Betts is joining from Psigma's parent Punter Southall Group, where she focused on RDR integration and managing their marketing and communications activities.

Previously, she was a financial adviser at an Australian-based boutique financial planning company, where she combined her role with that of operations manager, working on a number of projects to streamline the business operations.

Howard and Betts will report to Frank McGarry, who joined earlier this year as director of business development and marketing.

McGarry said in a statement: ‘[Howard and Betts’] experience will be highly valuable to Psigma as we continue our focus on the intermediary marketplace.

‘Our recently expanded business development team will continue to work with advisers who understand the benefits of multi asset investing and expect excellent service.’

Earlier this month Psigma acquired AXA Framlington’s private client business early July, taking on its £380 million in assets under management.
