Quilter launches model portfolio platform

Quilter has today launched a new platform service, which will open access to five model portfolios to advisers.
The move comes in response to the growth in IFAs looking to ourtsource discretionary investment management in the wake of the retail distribution review.
The new platform is available on the on the Ascentric/IFDL, Nucleus, Novia, and Præmium platforms and has five investment strategies based on the level of risk clients want – Adventurous, Growth, Balanced, Income and Conservative.
Glenn Hawksbee, head of sales at Quilter, said: “Our model portfolio strategies are extremely popular and I am delighted that we are now able to provide IFAs with the choice of this new platform service alongside our other services, such as our bespoke Discretionary Portfolio Service for high net worth clients.'
