Baillie Gifford has welcomed a raft of new partners to its fold.
Spencer Adair, an investment manager in the global alpha team; Kathrin Hamilton, director in the asset manager's clients department and Graham Laybourn, director of legal and regulatory risk, will all become partners from 1 May.
Andrew Telfer, joint senior partner, said the appointments were a sign Baillie Gifford remains confident it can overcome the pessimism surrounding global growth to deliver for its investors.
'The appointments of Spencer, Kathrin and Graham to the partnership will help us to continue to capitalise on these opportunities for the long term benefit of our clients,' Telfer said.
Baillie Gifford & Co employs 752 people and has assets under management of £85 billion, as at 31 December. The three appointments will bring the number of partners at the firm to 39.
