Rathbones' marketing director Jane Seymour has left the company to join newly merged wealth manager Quilter Cheviot.
Hot on the heels of the merger, Quilter Cheviot said Seymour would prove a crucial hire at a 'tremendously important period' for the business.
The latest in a series of senior appointments at the company, Seymour, formerly group marketing director at Rathbone Brothers, joins as marketing director and will report directly to CEO, Martin Baines.
Martin Baines commented: 'This is a tremendously important period for our business as we bring together the Quilter and Cheviot brands, securing and enhancing our client and corporate propositions based on our joint strengths. Critically, we have the commitment and the resources to make it happen and Jane will play a significant part in developing and implementing our strategy, particularly amongst professional advisers.'
Seymour has worked in financial services for over twenty years. Prior to her time at Rathbones, she was the founder partner at Seymours Consultancy for almost seven years, and previously worked at AXA and Bristol and West.
Seymour's hire follows that of investment managers Nigel Olliff and Peter Butcher, formerly of Quartet Capital Partners.
