by Alex Steger on Dec 11, 2013 at 08:07
Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) finance director Nathan Bostock is to leave the lender 10 weeks after he joined the board to join Santander, according to reports.
RBS has confirmed Bostsok is to depart, but not his move to Santander, which was reported by Sky News.
Sky said Bostock will join Santander as chief risk officer and deputy chief executive having been appointed finance director at RBS on 1 October.
RBS chairman Philip Hampton said: ‘Nathan did a remarkable job as chief risk officer and was integral to the plan which restored safety and soundness to the bank following the 2008 banking crisis. He leaves with the best wishes of the board.’
