Rothschild appoints emerging market bond head

Rothschild’s has appointed senior banker Dominique Maire to manage its emerging markets fixed income portfolio management department from October.
He previously served as first vice president at the company. Maire will be supported in the position by bond manager Siegbert Böttinger.
The two managers will run fixed-income mandates for family offices and high net worth clients, and will also be responsible for managing the RBZ Dollar Bond fund.
Before joining Rothschild Private Banking & Trust, Maire held senior positions in emerging market research at UBS and SG Securities.
He graduated in economics from the University of Geneva, and holds a masters in economics and development studies from the London School of Economics.
Rothschild Private Banking has around €10.5 billion in assets under management and provides wealth structuring, investment management, private banking and trust services to wealthy individuals, families, trusts and charities.
