Saunderson House has hired Duncan Ross from Citi Securities & Fund Services (CSFS) as chief operating officer.
At CSFS Ross led Citi’s client proposition and product strategy for the wealth business within EMEA.
Prior to this he held a number of senior management and business transformation roles within the industry, including spells at Brown Shipley & Co and Legal & General Group.
At Saunderson House, Ross will aim to take the firm, which added 100 clients in 2012 and 43 in the first quarter of 2013, through the next stage of its growth.
Saunderson managing director Tony Overy (pictured) said: 'His [Ross'] significant experience of heading operations and successful project delivery will be invaluable in pushing forward our longer term growth strategy.'
'I look forward to helping Saunderson House strengthen its position as one of the UK’s leading wealth managers and financial planners, Ross said.
In a recent in-depth interview with Wealth Manager, Overy outlined his vision for Saunderson, which he hinted could involve growing through acquisition.
