Schroders expects to name Buxton successor in weeks
Markets
by Emma Dunkley on Mar 15, 2013 at 15:16
‘I expect we will announce it in weeks rather than months. We don’t need to name immediately because they are staying on these funds for the next few months.’
At Old Mutual Global Investors Buxton will take on the role of head of UK equities.
Stoakley said: ‘I know Old Mutual well, they’re a quality house, I wish Richard every success. He’s joining a very good team. Given we’re losing two senior UK managers, we will be looking to bring new talent into the team, but we’ve made no specific decision yet.
‘There’s no decision yet on whether the appointment will be internal or external, but obviously Harrison is looking to replace the headcount.’
