by Emma Dunkley on Feb 11, 2013 at 09:40
Schroders has hired Scott Lothian as a senior strategist within its global strategic solutions team, the group that provides support to the firm’s institutional clients.
Lothian joins from BEA Union Investments based in Hong Kong, where over the past four years he has been head of multi-asset.
Prior to this, Lothian was a senior consultant at Towers Watson, based in the UK and Hong Kong.
Lothian will report to Lesley-Ann Morgan, who has also been promoted to head of global strategic solutions.
She joined in June 2011 as a senior strategist within the team, which was previously headed by Neil Walton.
Walton has recently taken up the role of head of institutional business development group, and chairs the UK institutional management committee at Schroders.
