by Elsa Buchanan on Feb 10, 2014 at 13:49
Signia Wealth has strengthened its board with the appointment of Paul Lester as executive chair.
The firm is seeking to increase its assets under management to £5 billion in the next five years.
In his new role, Lester will advise and govern the executive team as well as support Signia’s advisory board.
He is currently chair of private company Greenergy International, as well as the FTSE 250 firm John Laing Infrastructure fund, and private equity backed companies Parabis, Survitec and Peverel.
Prior to this, Lester worked at infrastructure group Balfour Beatty where he was group managing director.
Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe (pictured), CEO of Signia Wealth, said in a statement: 'Paul is hugely respected in industry and the city, and his appointment is another illustration of the expertise we are able to offer our clients.'
The appointment follows the hires of Michael Rosenthal as head of hedge fund investment, and Sir Keith Mills to Signia's advisory board.
In November last year, Wealth Manager revealed Rupert Robinson, Signia Wealth's head of wealth management, had left the firm
