Signia Wealth boosts investment team with de Merlis hire

Signia Wealth has appointed Etienne de Merlis as an executive director to strengthen its investment team.
In his new role, de Merlis will work as portfolio manager for discretionary and advisory accounts, for onshore and offshore ultra high net worth clients.
Based in London, he will work alongside Signia’s chief investment officer Guatam Batra.
De Merlis spent over 11 years at JP Morgan Private bank, where he was a portfolio manager for ultra high net worth individuals, covering discretionary and advisory portfolio for clients in Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to working at JP Morgan, de Merlis spent seven years as a derivatives marketer to French and Benelux financial institutions for Citibank.
