Société Générale Private Banking Hambros has raided Coutts for two senior staff hires, bringing on board Samik Mukherjee as senior private banker and Paul Stappard as senior portfolio manager.
Mukherjee was previously one of the directors of Coutts’ Fleet Street office, while Stappard was previously a senior portfolio manager, having earlier served as head of advisory research at Barclays Wealth.
The pair joins the business at the same time as Loisa Mannoch, formerly of private client law firm Speechly Bircham.
These appointments further strengthen Société Générale Private Banking’s offering in the UK, underlining its continued commitment to delivering first-class services to clients in response to their specific needs,’ said a company spokesperson.
