Markets
by Emma Dunkley on Jan 31, 2013 at 12:53
La Compagnie Benjamin de Rothschild, the Geneva arm of the private Swiss banking Group Edmond de Rothschild, has branched out into London as part of its plan to boost assets to £2 billion.
The London hub comprises a team of six led by Charles Goodman, who was previously in charge of La Compagnie Benjamin de Rothschild's (CBR) institutional business in Geneva.
The firm already manages around £1.1 billion in London, which represents business that has been transferred from elsewhere but also includes new clients acquired via its UK base.
CBR aims to manage close to £2 billion by the end of 2013 and boost its team to around 10 through local hires.
