'The only person on earth I hate': Sven-Goran Eriksson slams ex-adviser
by Daniel Grote on Aug 23, 2013 at 11:19
Sven-Goran Eriksson has branded his former financial adviser Samir Khan 'the only person on earth I hate' in an interview with The Telegraph detailing the extent of the losses the former England football manager suffered.
Eriksson alleged Khan had cost him £10 million through a series of investments that went wrong. They included a residential development of 92 flats in Southsea, Hampshire and a proposed development of two plots of land at the Royal Westmoreland Golf Club in Barbados, Eriksson has claimed, according to the paper. Khan denied the claims but was taken to court by Eriksson and was last month declared bankrupt.
'For most people in the world it's a huge amount of money and it even is for me,' Eriksson told The Telegraph.
'Even if I was paid well with the jobs I had it's big, big money. I'm not bankrupt. I still have some money. The big problem was the cash when you don't have a job, which I didn't for a while. Because Samir [got] me a lot of bank mortgages.'
'He's probably the only person on earth I hate. I feel let down, angry and disappointed because I trusted this man for many, many years.'
