Thesis bolsters investment team with Lymington office hire

Thesis Asset Management has appointed Tom Low as investment manager.
He will be based in Lymington office, and will report to Giles Marriage, director of institutional sales, who said: ‘In addition to his professional experience, Tom’s background in client relations will help our team reach the right individuals, institutions, charities, trustees and intermediaries.
‘His appointment comes at an exciting time for Thesis, as we look to further develop our highly respected investment management solutions.’
In his new capacity, Low (pictured) will be responsible for managing client portfolios and working with intermediary firms to increase sales.
He joins from Barnett Waddingham Investments, where he was head of client relations and involved in a number of internal projects as well as advising high net worth clients.
Before that, he worked at Barclays Wealth, where he dealt with discretionary cash management, secured and unsecured lending, discretionary investment management, structured products and relationship management.
Tom began his career at Lloyds TSB as a financial adviser before joining Barclays in its International IFA Services team before returning to the UK as an IFA.
This takes the investment team to a total of 16 individuals, across Thesis’ five offices in Chichester, Crawley, Brighton, Guildford and Lymington.Low’s appointment follows the launch of a direct securities model portfolio service across all offices.
