Thesis boosts investment team with new hire
by Elsa Buchanan on Jan 15, 2014 at 11:10
Thesis Asset Management is boosting its investment team with the hire of James Nield as an investment manager for its Chichester hub.
Nield will report to director and former Wealth Manager cover star Michael Lally (pictured) and be responsible for managing client portfolios.
He joins from Oriel Securities, where he was a partner in the UK equities team. Prior to that, he worked at Royal Bank of Canada, where he also covered UK equities, and Cazenove Fund Management, where he started his career as an assistant fund manager.
Lally, who heads the Chichester office and is the company's chief investment officer, said: 'James Nield's appointment comes at an important time for Thesis as we continue to expand our business. James’s strong track record and experience in the industry will help us deliver our plans for growth in 2014.'
The appointment brings the total number of investment managers across the business to 16 across Thesis' four offices in Chichester, Brighton, Guildford and Lymington.
In October last year, Thesis launched its new, free, private client service for lawyers and advisers to help them to provide a strategic financial plan for clients.
