Threadneedle hires Vincent for new head of wholesale solutions role
by James Phillipps on Oct 28, 2013 at 10:28
Threadneedle has hired Richard Vincent for the newly created role of head of wholesale solutions.
He will be tasked with promoting and developing the group’s multi-asset investment range for the UK and global intermediary markets.
Vincent (pictured) was previously proposition director for Skandia Investment Group and Old Mutual Wealth as it later became and will report into Nick Ring, Threadneedle’s head of distribution.
Ring said: ‘We have been working with Richard in a consulting capacity for the last six months and I am pleased that someone with his experience will take the lead in developing our solutions offering for the intermediary market.
‘The UK distribution landscape has changed significantly post RDR, with many advisers opting for model portfolios or pre-defined fund solutions for clients with different risk attitudes. With around 40% of our assets in some form of asset allocation mandate, we have an established and successful offering in this space and are keen to expand our reach beyond institutional investors.’
