Three arrested in Libor manipulation probe

The Serious Fraud Office with the assistance of the City of London Police, have arrested three men in connection with the rigging of Libor.

The men, aged 33, 41 and 47, were arrested in raids on a property in Surrey and two residential premises in Essex.

The trio, who are all British nationals, have been transported to a London police station where they will be subject to further questioning.

The news comes after Barcalys was hit with a hefty £290 million fine in the summer for rigging the bank lending rate.
