Tineke Frikkee: why I joined Smith & Williamson and my Lloyds play

In 2012 Tineke Frikkee was managing one of the UK's biggest UK equity income funds.
She is now looking to replicate this success at Smith & Williamson, where she runs the much more nimble £15 million UK Equity Income Trust .
Frikkee explains why she chose to join S&W and how her investment process stands up in a very different culture.
She also outlines why she likes Lloyds and talks about one of her biggest conviction stocks.
Frikkee took control of the UK Income trust in July 2013 and helped increase the fund's 3% outpeformance in the first half of 2013 to 11%.
The fund's total return in the 12 months to the end of January stands at 20.6%, versus a 9.7% rise in the FTSE 350 Higher Yield index.
