Vanguard's former head of UK retail exits
by Eleanor Lawrie on Feb 14, 2014 at 11:07
Peter Robertson, former head of retail services for Vanguard's UK business, has left the firm after five years.
Former chief executive of Manulife, Robertson joined Vanguard in 2008, to help establish its presence in the UK market. The following year, the low cost group launched 11 passive funds into the UK.
In 2011, he was sent on a two year secondment to work on the US retail side as head of new business development, while Nick Blake was promoted to head of retail.
Vanguard confirmed Robertson had recently left the business to pursue other opportunities.
According to Robertson's LinkedIn page, he is 'considering what to do next'.
